  • Fill out an online application pay the appropriate fees.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age
  • You must be a resident of the State of Florida
  • You must be a United States citizen or legal alien and possess a work authorization from the United States Immigration and Naturalization Services
  • You have to get fingerprinted at one of the Department’s fingerprint sites Fingerprint locations and additional information.
  • If you got licensed in another state within three years, the you must provide a Letter of Clearance.
